Do you have any pain or troubling symptoms?
What medications are you currently taking?
Are you taking the medications as directed by your doctor?
Is there anything about your home that causes difficulty for you?
Has anyone tried to intentionally harm you or coerce you into giving them money?
Do you drink any alcohol or smoke tobacco?
Well, I sometimes get pain in my hands or back, which the doctor says is from the arthritis and I sometimes get chest pains which worry me a lot. I also seem to get short of breath much quicker these days. And Iíve also been ďoff my oatsĒ for a short while. Iíve just been finding it difficult to eat as I end up feeling uncomfortable.
Goodness me, a whole host of things. Letís see, I have the medication for my heart - there are a few different ones for that I think - and I suppose Iím on something for my diabetes too, but I canít remember what itís called.
The doctor also recently prescribed me something to help me go to the toilet as Iíve been having a bit of trouble in that department of late. Oh, and I also have a puffer for my chest pain and I take Voltaren if my arthritis flares up.
Well, yes. Yes, I think so, but there are just so many, I suppose itís possible that sometimes I might forget to take some of them, especially in the evenings.
I do have trouble getting the laundry in and out. I just get so breathless with all the lifting and bending over. I canít really do the ironing anymore either.
No, nothing like that.
Yes, I used to smoke a bit when I was younger. About 10 or 12 cigarettes a day for around 18 years I suppose. But I gave all that away a long time ago.
We do still like the odd beer in summer or nip of port in winter though, donít we love?
Oh yes, but weíd only have one drink per day at most.
