Mrs Doherty is currently on the following medications:
Perindopril 5mg od – prescribed for high blood pressure and congestive heart failure
Clopidogrel 75mg od – to inhibit blood clots
Gliclizide 80mg bd – to stimulate the release of insulin and diminish the peripheral resistance to insulin in order to treat diabetes
GTN spray prn – to reduce the pain of acute angina attack
Simvastatin 20mg – for high cholesterol
